WHY Renaissance

Renaissance: The Era of Transformation

The Renaissance – that cultural, political, scientific, and intellectual explosion in Europe between the 14th and 17th centuries – represents perhaps the most profoundly important period in human development since the fall of Ancient Rome. … The Renaissance changed the world in just about every way one could think of. It was an era where we transited into a modern world and this is what makes it a major turning point because of the changes it brought.

In Old French renaissance means “rebirth.” Or revival.

Similarly, in business the constant challenges posed today requires companies the need to transform! We realized this when addressing our clients needs. The challenges today are multifold.

As Clayton Christensen termed it “Disruptive Innovation”, Products and services today are constantly being displaced by competitors. This is mainly contributed by the followings:

Digital Revolution

  • The digital revolution has never been about technology, but more to do with people and how they get impacted in their day to day life. This also led to the widespread transition of telecommunications creating innovative ways of working and socializing.
  • Digital revolution has boosted new avenues of communication empowering the economy and its consumers by providing them access to information at any point of time through its diverse platforms, such as, Mobile internet, Cloud-based technology, Big Data, IoT (Internet of Things), Nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Robots, and other digital technologies.

Millennials (Born between 1980 – 2000)

  • One of the largest generations in history is about to move into its prime spending years. Millennials are poised to reshape the economy; their unique experiences will change the ways we buy and sell, forcing companies to examine how they do business for decades to come
  • They are forcing organizations to make tough choices on the way they do business, the way they communicate with their customers, about their product- and service offerings, their internal processes and their applications and IT infrastructure.

In Summary, Change is happening all the time and at an increasing speed. These disruptive changes have impact on the business models of organizations.

We find this current era to be a “Renaissance” which is changing the world and organizations need to transform to stay alive! Transformation is imperative today and not an option anymore. Helping leaders and organizations make the changes and sustain in the current volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world has always been our mission since the inception. We help inspire our clients to make their most challenging business decisions with confidence and help them make a difference in their industry.
